Ten members of the PMEB and British Mercury revisited in Toronto
where we gathered three years ago for the premiere of Fairytale
for a weekend celebrating all that is Paul.
The weekend featured panels on Paul's acting and music, an acting
class (where we truly realized how talented Paul is... and
how bad we were!), a charity auction that raised US $400
(no small feat since there were just 10 of us!) and the North American
premieres of Fish and Streets of Yesterday, which
soon became known as "Shirts of Yesterday" thanks to the
many different sytles (and hues and patterns...) of jerseys Paul
wore in it!
Over the three days, wine flowed aplenty and we Canadians introduced
our American cousins to the wonder that is Nanaimo bar desserts.
Attendees received a bag of goodies featuring an art print of the
8th Doctor by well-known fan artist Martin Proctor and a special
message from Paul (reprinted in the Fall 2000 issue of British Mercury's
newsletter).

The charity auction featured lots of gorgeous photos and

Paul told us to "enjoy today and misbehave." How
could we disappoint him?
