PWFC webring

1. Submit your site to the ring

Once you have a Yahoo ID and have logged in to Yahoo, go to the PWFC webring signup page and click Join Ring. Fill in the form that appears with the URL, description and title of your site. Your application to join the Ring will be sent to the Ring Master, who will approve or deny your application. You will be notified of the Ring Master's decision via email.

2. Install the webring navigation bar

You can choose to display the standard navigation bar that Yahoo uses (as seen on the main webring page) OR the custom navigation bar below. Do not install both!

How to install Yahoo's server-side navigation bar (SSNB) code on your page. To get the SSNB, log in to Yahoo and select the My Rings or List All My Rings link on the top the page. (You have to be logged in to Yahoo for this to work.) On the My Rings page, select the PWFC Web Ring link in the My Web Site(s) (click site to edit) column. Then select the Get Navigation Bar link under Member Tools. Cut and paste the code onto your page.

You only need to cut and paste the code once, even if you join multiple Rings. One code fragment will serve the navigation bars for all the Rings you belong to that are registered with your Yahoo ID.

  • YOUR NAME
  • YOUR EMAIL

http://edit.webring.yahoo.com/cgi-bin/wrman?ring=pwfcring&id=32&edit

In the above example, the ID # is 32.

If you want to store the navigation bar graphics on your own website, you will need to save the images above separately then modify the HTML code to link to your local copies of the images.

3. Wait to be added to the ring

Once the Ring Master verifies that the navigation bar code has been installed correctly on your webpage, you will be added to the webring.
