And I gotta say... I think Doug is gay. I saw Doug singing at a Club in New York and he was holding hands and being affectionate with this young latin boy. My friend was working a show on Broadway and I was invited. Then I saw Doug and his date kissing on the cheek at the bar. I walked up to the guy when Doug left somewhere and I asked him if he and Doug were dating but he said that it wouldn't be nice to comment on that while Doug wasn't around. He was really sweet and goodlooking. I think his name was Jess or something. For being latin the guy was so hot and gorgeous that I wanted to take him instead. And I'm usually not attracted to latins. Maybe Doug is Bi or something. Has anyone seen him with a girl?
Webmaster replies: Doug took a female date to the Humane Society Fetching Ball a few months ago. According to one fan who attended, his date shot jealous dirty looks — erm, I mean "acted really protective" — whenever any other women struck up conversations with Doug. I did mention to Doug once that according to my web site stats, the third most popular search term that people enter in Google when looking him up (after "Crying Pam" and "fireplace") is "gay." Doug laughed and replied, "Let's keep 'em guessing." I guess he does!

I just love Doug's... sense of humor
And I gotta say... that as the Homeowner who received the "Suave Suade" room (we call it the "Cow in the Cabin" room), we did NOT put too many restrictions on what could be done with our room We ONLY stated not to put any type of opaque paint on our custom made Amish tables. As for the sofas, carpet and ceiling fan, we told them to go for it... "Do whatever you have to do". This misconception has shown up on many a bulletin board and article, so I just thought I clear it up for everyone. We WISH Doug had done something with the ugly sofas and carpet!
But we still love our room almost a year later. And we also love Doug.
Webmaster replies: Actually, the information about the restrictions on the room comes from Doug himself! Just before he shot your episode, he dropped by the Doug Wilson Fan Forum chat room and talked about the difficulty of designing this particular room. Everyone assumed that the restrictions he mentioned came from the homeowners, but I guess in this case it came from the budget-watching producers!

And I gotta say... Look at u ppl. Why do u love Doug so much? Ewww...he's so not hot at all. Maybe I'd think he was hot if he was nice! I duno. He never listens to anyone but himself. He's like "I'm the designer, so I get to do what I want!" My fave designers are Vern and Gen...they listen to their team and their rooms aren't ones you'd be sick of in a week, like Doug's are. And I gotta say... Doug, I have been dying to know for over a year what happened to crying Pam? I have looked for updates on her pathetic crying fit, and I cannot find anything! My husband and I loved the room we would like our living room to look similar to that one. I enjoy shows that your on because you are very unpredictable, and ofcourse extremley charming. I would love to know what ever became of everybodys favorite episode of the "Crying Pam."
