And I gotta say... I tend to think that TS has run it's course. Some of the designs on there now seem to be very unconventional and not very practical. Doug may sometimes push the envelope but at least he's trying to "design" and not necessarily entertain. By the way, he is extremely handsome in person.

And I gotta say... After watching the "first" shows, I wished I started watching the show earlier. Doug is nothing like he once was. I kind of like the way he did things before. And I gotta say... I miss the old Doug. It seems he has gotten a little caught up in the fanfare of his own style. A year or so ago, he was really turning out some decent rooms. Now it seems not only Doug, but the show has gotten out of hand. I never thought I'd see Doug stray from the essentials of design, but the white room theme was nothing but fluff. Hopefully the "real" Doug will be back soon.

And I gotta say... Douglas, while I do love your unique creativity and sense of style, the "Whoa White Room" was a little over the top. I really appreciate what you were trying to give them, something they wouldn't ordinarily do themselves. Don't get me wrong Douglas, I absolutely love your work but to have everything white really represents a cold kind of harshness. Kind of a sterile enviroment. I really felt bad for those two guys. I think I would have been visibly upset myself. I would like my house to represent who I am. That room made them seem like they were cold and distant people. Their personalities was totally the opposite of that. I hope their friends help them redecorate the room. I just felt so sorry for them. That art work on the wall, ROCKED!! I loved it. Take care
