I just love Doug's... Designs
And I gotta say... I have liked every design Doug has made..except the home theatre room, but if I were on Trading spaces and got that room I would not throw a fit, because:
1. getting a surprise is part of the show and surprises are not always good.
2. IT'S FREE!! who wouldn't kill to have a professional designed room for free?!

And I gotta say... Thank you so much for the pictures from the china blue episode! I was able to save them and enlarge them and make them greyscale and put them on transparency paper and re-create the room myself; very easy but VERY time consuming assuming you go into a lot of detail-anyway, thanks a lot!

And I gotta say... Why does Doug have to be so confrontational on every show?
Why does he have to do designs that he knows the home owner is
not going to enjoy? When Doug is doing a design, I now shut the
show off because he is much too annoying. It would be different if
he had some style or good decorating sense. Poor Doug, maybe some of
the other designers can help him.

And I gotta say... I do like some of his room designs, but some are just a little too crazy for me!~ (pullman car, home theater, etc..) My favorite room was the kitchen where he covered the fireplace and made a pantry. That was really cool!! I loved the butcher block counter top and the colors he used too!~

Webmaster replies: No info on that yet. Your best bet is to keep an eye on the local newspapers and TV news around that time. They'll most likely be reporting on the show's taping. They won't be giving out addresses, of course, but there might be clues.
